What if my access key doesn't work?
'It seems like your access key is not valid. If this happens again, please contact your service manager.'
follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
- Ensure that you're entering the full access key, including the first five characters, 'ss://', which may not be automatically copied to the clipboard. Here's an example of what a full access key looks like (sample only; will not work):
ss://[email protected]:39485/?outline=1
ss://[email protected]:39485/?outline=1
- If your access key won't copy to your clipboard at all, this may be due to your messaging app or platform. This is mostly likely to happen when you receive a message from someone who isn't in your contacts list. If you're copying the code from a message, ensure that the sender is added to your contacts, then try to access the link again.
- If you've completed steps 1 and 2 and still receive the error message, the server is most likely blocked or the access key is no longer valid. If you're the service manager, try generating a new key for yourself. Otherwise, contact your service manager for a new key.
