Connecting your device to an Outline server

In order to connect your device to an Outline server, a server administrator has to send you an invitation to connect to their server with a unique access key. This invitation will:

• Prompt you to download and install Outline on your device if you don't already have it
• Use the access key to make a secure connection between you and the Outline server

Once you have established your connection to the server, you can click "connect" or "disconnect" to use Outline.

Important

Outline does not work without an access key and an Outline server. Downloading and installing the Outline app without a key won't protect your internet traffic.
